September Food Drive a Big SuccessAccording to Cassie Bornhorst, neighborhood resident and food drive organizer, 212 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Concord Cooperative Christian Ministry. Thanks to everyone in Sheffield Manor who made a generous contribution! |
Annual Picnic - June 5thAnd another wonderful picnic it was! Hannibal proved himself a true magician while we swam the day away. Cotton candy, popcorn and sno cones filled the bellies of most before the pig came off the BBQ to finish us off. Thanks to everyone who attended! But wait - how many Dum Dum's were there? A whopping 357 to be exact. Congratulations to Lauren Neely who guessed closest at 360 to win the $25 Bio-M-Bos gift certificate. A close second came in by Wilson who won the jar of suckers. Good guessing, everyone! Movie Night - Chicken Little June 19thThe recent movie night was almost cancelled due to an unfortunate event… the sky was falling! Seriously – we had a great night under the stable stars. Thanks Llams Inc for the humor and another enjoyable evening! |
Movie Night - May 22Sheffield Manor residents enjoyed a night under the stars while The Incredible Mr. Limpet played on the big screen. With the sno cone machine grinding in the background, neighbors enjoyed a beautiful night of perfect weather, yummy treats and good friends. Easter Egg Decorating Eggstravaganza - April 3, 2010Sheffield Manor's first Easter egg decorating event was a magnificent mess! Loads of eggs were gransformed into fluffy animals, painted masterpieces and glittery works of art. The fun was enjoyed by all - even the eggs!

Tree Lighting - December 6, 2009Santa Claus and neighborhood guests arrived to a rare sight - snow at Sheffield Manor! All of our good girls and boys enjoyed a lengthy visit with Santa while sipping warm cider and hot cocoa. Then, out the door we went to throw snowballs and enjoy the freshly made winter wonderland. An enormous *thank you* goes out to Doug Sheppard, our resident Snow Making Hobbyist, who spent the entire night blowing snow for the rest of us to enjoy. |

Semi-annual Neighborhood Yard Sale - October 17,2009Rain was in the forecast but it didn't stop the bargain hunters! Sheffield Manor had a whopping 29 houses participate in another successful event. A big "thank you" to all who made it happen! |
Cartoon Extravaganza - September 19thWith rain in the forecast moviegoers turned inside for a night filled with Bugs Bunny and all his friends projected onto the clubhouse ceiling! Popcorn and cheese nachos were devoured by those who braved the elements to spend a Saturday night with some of their favorite neighbors. |

Dive-in Movie Night, Wall-E - June 20, 2009The first dive-in movie night of the year was a splash with everyone's favorite robot Wall-E showing on the big screen. In addition to popcorn, made on site cotton candy was available for those with a sweet tooth. |
